I purchased the entire King size set about 2 months ago and loved it until a damp towel was left laying on the comforter and the black bled badly into the cream and white. I was shocked, not what I expected from a Waverly fabric! To determine the extent of the problem I first washed the shams by themselves and they came out fine. Washed the comforter in a commercial washer (per instructions) TWICE before drying and it came out fine. I think using color catchers in wash would also help. Wouldn't have gone to all that trouble except I really like this set. Good luck with washing it!

I bought this set about 3 months ago for my guest bedroom. After I got it home, I decided to put it in my bedroom because I liked it so much! It has held up very well, even with my dog sleeping on it every night! The only problem I had was the black fading onto the cream part on a section of it. After I freaked out, I washed it according to the directions and it got a little bit worse. So, I used spray and wash on it and tried again and it now looks like new! I will be buying the Euro shams and the coordinating quilt to put on the end of the bed. Highly recommend!!

I purchased this set after eyeing it in the store for several weeks, and it is such a beautiful high quality set. The photos online make it appear that it is black and white, but it is in actuality much more of a black and cream. Luxurious look and feel for a great price! I am so happy with it.

I purchased this set almost a year ago and I have been very pleased. The comforter is a good weight and quite soft. It looks better in person than online. The comforter has been in a guest room with infrequent use. It has held up quite well. Overall, this was an excellent purchase.

This comforter set is just beautiful, and I love that the comforter is light and fluffy, and yet very warm. I used it for *3 months* when I decided it was time to wash it to get the smell of my dog out of it. Like other posters, I own a commercial sized, front-load washer. I washed this comforter at least 8 times, and was never able to wash out the spots where the black bled into the cream. My comforter is RUINED. As you can guess, Target refused to allow me to even do an even exchange for the identical product, since I bought it more than 3 months ago. I am an attorney, and believe Target is selling a defective product, and then illegally refusing to remedy the problem. Most people have no reason to know that the colors will bleed until they've had the item more than three months. I'm suing Target for a refund.

After searching for over 2 years for the exact comfortor I wanted, I settled on this one. I loved everything about it, the weight of it is fantastic, it is soft, and elegant looking. Then we got a little stain on it, when I tried to spot treat it, the black bled into the beige part. We took it to the laundromat to wash it as directed, and the black bled all over it. After trying to get some sort of refund or exchange (sorry Charlie, past 3 months and you are out of luck)we decided, (as a last ditch effor) to wash it one more time, this time using the 'shout Color Catcher' cloths (I used 3 for good measure, and they came out black). It worked, the black bleed is 100% gone! And I am free to enjoy my comfortor again!

It was a lot heavier and more well made then I thought it would be for the price. The shams are zippered vs. the slit in the back which I love! I reccommend this set, it's awesome!

I LOVE this bedding and mixed it with some other bedding from Anthropologie. It was super until I washed it! I also have a commercial grade front loading washer and it bled everywhere and is ruined. buy it- just don't ever try to wash it!

This set looks fantastic & is worth every penny. The fabric is soft but durable & very comfortable. I was looking for a clean, sharp, style for my new place & this is perfect. To complete the look I bought black sheer curtains. Highly recommended!
